X.A.N.A. in School is the second episode of season 5 and the 97th episode of Code Lyoko.
Summary[]
The episode begins with Aelita asking Jeremy if they can have a private word, choosing to head to Jeremy's room. She explains that she suspects Sissi may be possessed by X.A.N.A. Jeremy still cannot believe it to be true, causing Aelita to go with Odd (the only one that believe in her) to the Factory. Upon arriving, they see that someone has indeed been using the supercomputer. They track a signal whilst Odd and Aelita are virtualized onto Lyoko. They quickly discover that Aelita's suspicions were correct: Sissi is possessed by X.A.N.A.
Whilst Aelita and Odd are pursued by X.A.N.A.-Sissi, Jeremy's laptop detects an activated tower. Jeremy, together with Ulrich, leave the library and run to warn Yumi. Having been doing a test, Yumi is forced to rush through in order to leave. The three rush to the factory, with Jeremy making a comment that it smells like Odd's feet so he must not have been far. Ulrich and Yumi are virtualized into the desert sector. Meanwhile X.A.N.A.-Sissi tries to push Aelita into the Digital Sea, with help from the Polymorphic Clone; X.A.N.A.-William. Yumi finds Aelita, attempting to throw a rock at X.A.N.A.-Sissi; however she is able to easily destroy the projectile thanks to her new power granted by X.A.N.A.: Disintegration. Jeremy sends the groups' vehicles in order to quickly get to the action. Yumi is left to fight X.A.N.A.-William, fortunately X.A.N.A.-William is devirtualized by Odd. Aelita proceeds to deactivate the tower with everyone returns to school, to everyone's surprise, Sissi is there! She seems normal, however she is still under X.A.N.A.'s control.
12 days later, X.A.N.A. re-actives a tower to get Aelita to Lyoko whilst the warriors have their guard down. The Lyoko-Warriors are virtualized into the Mountain sector where X.A.N.A.-Sissi and X.A.N.A.-William are, again, trying to throw Aelita into the Digital Sea. This time X.A.N.A. has given a "gift" to X.A.N.A.-Sissi: a pink sword. The Lyoko-Warriors engage the duo with Ulrich quickly starting a fight with X.A.N.A.-William , though he is able to easily devirtualize Ulrich. X.A.N.A-William then turns his attention to Yumi and Odd.
Meanwhile at Kadic, Mr. Delmas begins to worry about the disappearance of his daughter. He begins searching for the Lyoko-Warriors, but he cannot find them as they are busy fighting his daughter. On Lyoko, Odd is fighting against X.A.N.A.-William, making bad jokes as they clash, until he manages to devirtualize the clone. Odd's success to soon brought to an end as he is devirtualized by the pink sword of X.A.N.A.-Sissi. Aelita uses the spectacle to deactivate the tower once again. Yumi and Aelita go for Sissi-X.A.N.A. who, finding herself outnumbered, jumps into the Digital Sea to return her new master, X.A.N.A.
Following on from their hard-fought battle, Jeremy concludes that as Sissi was submerged into the Digital Sea, she won't be able return to Earth (even if possessed) for a time. To cover them, Jeremy activates a tower in the desert sector, using it to make a polymorphic clone of Sissi that will take her place at Kadic for the time being. Herb and Nicolas unite with Sissi's clone who quickly goes on to claim that she and Yumi are friends. Herb takes advantage of this obliviousness to ask Sissi out for dinner, to which she replies "To have dinner, I have to have lunch before, right?". The boys, initially confused, laugh off the statement as a joke.
